This paper, basing on the impersonality exist and requiring of minima ecological flow and optimal ecological, from the harmo- nious consolidation between the water project and ecology flow, analyzed the founding the ecological char- acteristic level of reservoir and provision of the ecological storages reservoir in the design and running and management. T aking the protection of river ecosystem, it also proposed the influence factor in the reser- voir ecological scheduling, and put the Daxihaizi Reservoir and Three Gorge Reservoir to testify this con- cept.
