Abstract: Locating driver. s eyes exactly firstly to judge driver. s eye state. Then by counting eye area and area. s
reduction extent, noting eye. s continual closure tmi e and closure frequency to detect driver. s eye fatigue state.
Secondly, by sk in color segm entation in RGB space, rem oving the object connected to the border and m in ishing the
range of eye area gradually together w ith shape validation to locate driver. eye, and then the eye closure tmi es and
tmi e are com puted. The test proves th is m ethod is smi p le and fast, and it can. t be influenced by com plex
background, faces of d ifferent sk in color or gu ise.
