Objective: T o re ieve the discom fort of patients treated by m echan ica vent i at ion by app icat ion o f com fort care m ode in intensive care un it ( ICU ). M ethods: The com fort care w as perform ed in 89 patients treated by m echan ica vent i at ion in ICU. Results: A indexes of physio ogy, p sycho ogy, society and sou w ere mi proved in a of the 89 pa tients. T he sat isfaction rate w as 96. 55% during the fo ow - up period. Conclusion: A pp ication of com fort care m ode in pat ients treated by m echanica vent i at ion at h igh a t itude can increase the m ixed ab i ity o f ICU nurses, mi prove the qua ity of nursing service, and re f ect the patient - centered and hum anistic nursing concept.
