Methods Thirty- si SD rats w ere randomly selected and separated into si groups of 6 rats each. Bilateral dorsal cuts w ere performed on each rat. T he dorsal cuts were applied wit h HA film or NS gaue, respectively, and then st rd th th th th bound up wit h sterile gauze. T he skin samples were obtained at the 1 , 3 , 5 , 7 , 9 and 14 day. The HA content w as measured using radioimmunoassay . Results There w as no statistical difference in the HA content in bot h groups on st r d th t he 1 day after the surgery.
