Unequal Spaced Distribution Spherical Parallel Manipulator

Abstract: The distribution of a 3- RRR spherical parallel manipulator. s workspace was analyzed
when thethree branches were in different distributions.T he three branche equal spaced distribution of
the traditional spherical parallel manipulator was changed to unequal spaced distribution.A new waist
joint based on three branche unequal spaced distribution spherical parallel manipulator was given.The
reasonable design parameters were chosen, and an integrated design scheme of the waist joint was
confirmed. The analyses of the results show that the novel waist joint is characterized by large curve
angle and is particularly suitable for certain applications in humanoid robot related to the workspace.
