Teaching contents:Unit 6 A field trip A、Let’s learn let’s play 王春会 I Teaching aims 1.Knowledge objects ①To enable Ss to listen、 speak 、read and write these phrases:catching butterflies、 picking up leaves、 taking pictures、 watching insects and doing an experiment. ②To make Ss use these sentences in the actual situation as follows. What is he/she doing? He/She is.... 2.Ability objects ①To train Ss’the abilities of listening and speaking. ②To foster Ss’ communicative competence. ③By completing the task,it will increase the interest of learning English and set up confidence in language study. 3.Moral objects ①To educate Ss to love animals and protect natures. ②To make Ss develop the spirit of working in unity and help one another and deal with the friendship during students. Ⅱ.Teaching key points and difficulties Teaching key points:To make Ss master the “ing”form of these phrases as follows: catching butterflies 、 picking up leaves、 taking pictures、 watching insects、 watching insects and doing an experiment. Teaching difficuties:The pronunciation of insect and experiment . T: Can you do an action about answering the phone? S:Yes. T:What are you doing? S:I’m answering the phone. 2.Using the same method in order to review the phrases that have learnt.
