Content:Part A
Aim and requirement: Using simple present/past/future/ tense.
Main point: Using possessive pronouns.
Difficult points: Using adj to describe events,places and food.

Teaching procedure
Warm up and greeting
Presentation
Bring in a large world map. Put it on the board. Tell the students to point to China. Then show them where your city is on the map.
Ask some students to come forward and point to a place they would like to go to . Ask the students what they think they would see there.
Point to South Africa. Explain that many people in this country speak English. Ask them what they think they could see there .
Show Transparency. Play the Pupil’s Book Cassette and point to each of the pictures. Ask the students to repeat after the cassette.
Practice
(Books open) Show Transparency. Read aloud or play the Pupil’s Book Casette. Ask the students to repeat after you.
Ask the students to work in pairs. They should role-up and continue the conversation using the locations and words shown in the pictures.

Ask the students to collect newspapers and magazines. Ask them to cut out and label pictures of things they could do in that place if they were there on a summer holiday.
