第 30卷 第23期 农 业 工 程 学 报 Vb1_30 No．23 148 2014年 12月 TransactionsoftheChinese Society ofAgriculturalEngineering Dec．2014 Dynamicsofsoilcarbonandnitrogenstocksfollowing afforestationingullyregionofLoessPlateau，China LiangAihualHanXinhuifZhaoFazhulPenGuangxinIYangGaihe (1．CollegeofAgronomy,NorthwestAFUniversity,Ya f 712100，China； 2．TheResearchCenterofRecycleAgriculturalEngineeringandTechnologyofShaanxiProvince,Yangling712100，China) Abstract：Theeffectofvegetationrestorationonsoilcarbon(C)andnitrogen(N)stocksisanimportantconsideration duringtheremediationofdergadedsoil．ThetemporalvariationanddistributionofC andN stocksinthesoilprofilewere studiedinareaswithdifierenttypesofvegetationrestorationintheZhifanggoucatchmentofChina’sLoessPlateau．In thisarea，the“Grain—for-Green”project(GFGP)encouragedlandscapescalehabitatrestorationduringthelastdecade． Resultsshowedthatafforestationofdegradedcropland significna tlypromotedCO，sequestration andrestored soilN availability,whichconsequentlyreducedN limitationandsustainedC sequestration．Aboveavegetationagethreshold．i．e． 26years，arforestationsignificantlyimprovedthelinearcorrelationrelationshipbetweensoilorganicCfSOC1andtotalN (TN)stocksinthe0-60cm soilprofile．ThislinearSOC．TN stocknexusdecreasedwithincreasingsoildepth．andthe potentialofhaving improvedSOC stock．TN stockandtheratiobetweenthem in deepersoillayersincreased with increasing timeafterarforestation．Managedplantationsprovide superiorCO，sequestration and improvementin the S0C-TN correlationatarelativelyshortperiodafterarforestationwhencomparedtonaturalrestorationwherevegetation isestablishedbynaturalcolonization．SotheseresultsindicatethattheC sequestration sustainability ofafforestation shouldbeassessedatalong-term scal
