Teaching steps: 1.Greetings and free talk. 2.Guide a) Introduce myself with some numbers. b) Get the Ss to introduce themselves to me. c) Get the Ss to read some numbers. （用一些数字进行自我介绍，一方面跟陌生学生进行沟通，一方面为新课做铺垫。） d) Show a clock to the Ss .Say There are also numbers on it. We call it clock in English. How many numbers are there on the clock? If you dont know the time ,a clock can tell you .Today we are going to take up the new unit about the time. （从自我介绍中的数字到钟面上的数字，来介绍钟，从而自然地导入新课。） 3.Presentation a) Use the information on the table to discuss with your partners.
