Abstract : Flood damage assessment is an important non engineering measure. Here, with respect to the flood risk as
sessment for agriculture, taking Sanmianchuan andother towns and villages of Faku County in Liaoning Province as exam
ples, and selecting the representative crops of rice and corn as research objects, the flood vulnerability is analyzed by us
ing the statistical model with multi parameters, the corresponding vulnerability curves are drawn, the flood depth is lay
ered with ArcGIS software, and the loss is calculated based on vulnerability assessment model. All these as mentioned
above could provide scientific bases for auditing after floods and formulating disaster prevention and reduction policies.
