Meanwhile it brings som e problems to be solved urgently because of the linear coverage plan of GSM - R, requiring frequent sw itching for the running train. The performance of sw itching has very much effect on system service quality and train running safety because high- speed train requires high standard forGSM - R sw itching. The research is done on the sw itching algorithm s for thepurpose of seeking one fast algorithm to shorten sw itching delay tmi e, realize the fast and reliable sw itching and enhance the successful sw itching ratio ofGSM - R during transferringMSC section under condition of high speed. Research conclusions: A new type of fast algorithm for GSM - R sw itching for high- speed raiwl ay is present through research, and the analyses of the feasibility and feature of this algorithm aremade in theory.
