Abstract : The implementation of / the Marine Law of United Nations0 (MLUN) is the symbol
of new international marine system. The MLUN not only endues the coastal countries with the
maritime sovereignty including dominion of 200 mile exclusive economic zone, brings the new
trends to international marine state, but also affects significantly the marine economy of our
country. On the one hand, the implementation of the MLUN acceleratesthe constructing proce2
dure of Chinese marine law and expands the claim of dominion over the marginal sea. On the
other hand, it makes Chinese marine economic rights and interests coming in for the new
threats of other countries, border upon China on the sea. The implementation of the regime of
exclusive economic zonewill bring the significant impacts on the production and management of
Chinese marine fishery.
