Abstract: Residues of three or anophosphorous pesticides parathion2methy, parathion2ethyl and phorate
in ve etables were analyzed and separated by hi h performance liquid chromato raphy. The analysis con2
ditions were optimized for the extraction, purification and separation of samples. Separation was per2
formed in shim- pack VP- ODS column with an eluent consistin of methanol- water ( volume ratio
85B15) mixture. The eluate was detected by UV detector at 250 nm. The experimental data had a ood
characteristic of linearity in the ran e of 0. 02- 2. 0 L PL with the detectin limit 1. 0- 5. 0 L PL, the
recovery ration ran ed from 97. 44% to 101. 22%. The method could be used to analyse pesticide in
different ve
