Abstract: A ording to hara teristi s of ultrasoni vibration assisted grinding, and ombined with inspe tion diffi ulties and
pra ti al needs, the grinding for e ratio was hosen as the input. The real time data of grinding for e ratio were olle ted by the
grinding for e inspe tion system and pro essed. The ultrasoni vibration power and the feed rate of workpie e are ontrolled in hi-
erar hi al ontrol strategy . The hanges and the hange rates of grinding for e ratio a t as the input of fuzzy ontroller, and the
feed rate of workpie e as its output. A ording to the fuzzy ontrol rules, the fuzzy ontrol system of ombined ma hining was sim-
ulated dynami ally by Simulink module in Matlab. The simulation result is a ord with the fuzzy ontrol strategy , the feed rate an
be adjusted as the hange of grinding for e ratio, so that the grinding burn and hatter an be avoided.
