Methods:The levels f OPN , IL- 18 in peripheral bl d f 102 patients with chr nic hep- atitis B, 34 patients with hepatitis B-related cirrh sis, 95 HBV carriers and 20 healthy pe ple as the c ntr l gr up were respectively detected with ELISA. Results:The levels f OPN and IL- 18 in chr nic hepatitis B and hepatitis B-related cirrh sis gr ups were significantly increased c mpared with that f health c ntr l gr up( P 0. 05) ; OPN and IL- 18 in hepatitis B-related cirrh sis gr up were markedly higher than th se f chr nic hepatitis B gr up; OPN and IL- 18 in mild type f hepatitis B were significantly higher than th se f heavy gr up f chr nic hepatitis B and there was p sitive relati nship between the levels f OPN r IL- 18 and the chr nic liver disease degree( r = 0. 71, P 0. 05; r = 0. 78, P 0. 05) . Con lusion:OPN and IL-18 levels in peripheral bl d f hepatitis B is cl sely related t the diseases degree, and there is a clinic sig- nificance f the levels f OPN
