Investigating into the significance of Zhang Zhenjun ancient
hall building in Shuanghang ，Fuzhou

Abstract :A site survey of Zhang Zhenjun ancient hall building at Shuanghang ，Fuzhou was conduc-
ted． The site selection ，the structure ，the decoration art and the religion culture of the ancient hall
building illustrate the architectural style of Fuzhou area in the Ming to Qing dynasty． It is the mani-
festation of the Chinese national culture and the Chinese national characteristics． It also showcases
the simple and pure psychology of the common people in Fuzhou in seeking after “National security
and people’s peace ”and “Favourable climate with rich rainfalls ”． It is of high value in architec-
ture ，culture and art．
