What is Ethics? How should I live my life? 道德是由一定社会的经济关系决定的，是依靠人们的内心信念、社会舆论和传统习俗维持的，表现为善恶对立的社会意识。 2、道德的作用 道德是对他人、社会有利的行为。——霍尔巴赫（法） 道德就是幸福。——费尔巴哈（德） 道德是主观意志的法。——黑格尔（德） 3、道德的类型 The characteristics of morality 按调整的关系不同：社会道德、宗教道德、自然道德、个人道德 按存在的领域不同：恋爱婚姻家庭道德、社会公德、职业道德。 （二）伦理 ethics １、伦理学概念（The concept of ethics） Ethics，源自希腊字ethike和 ethos，原意为道德、习惯、习性和行为；所要探讨的是有关人类行为善与恶的性质，是一种统御个人行为的价值体系。 伦理学译自英文的ethics，这来自希腊文ethike。亚里士兵多德以此指涉研究ethos的学问。 Ethics Babies are not morally responsible. One essential difference between a baby and an adult is that the adult recognizes when there is a problem to overcome, or a difficult choice to be made, takes action and then accepts responsibility. Ethics is the rational discussion of that process. 伦理 Ethics Ethics is about moral choices and the values behind decisions. (理由与过程) Ethics is about right and wrong, it is about the dilemmas of life, death, sex, money, and violence. 社会观点 Ethics is about rights and responsibilities.
