He is responsible for the management, growth and development of the Public Sector business, including Government, Health and Education industries, in 15 countries, such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Dr. Dixon oversees an organization that integrates a full range of consulting services for the Public Sector – from business strategy development and operations to resource productivity and cost reduction and organizational restructuring to technology design – into comprehensive solutions to help organizations succeed in todays economy. Dr. Dixons team focuses on consulting and business improvement, with an emphasis on strategic change and process transformation. Improvements in service delivery, cost effectiveness, and industry development are persistent themes within and between local, state and federal governments and agencies around the region. Dr. Dixon joined IBM in 1986. During his time with IBM, he has held a series of executive, management and sales positions. On assignment from IBM, Dr. Dixon spent 1992 in Washington DC, as a Brookings Institute Congressional Fellow, on the personal staff of a Congressman. During this period, Dr. Dixon worked with policy makers, congressional staff and business leaders across education, banking, transport, science and technology.
