Such agreements indicate a commitment on the part of the State(s) concerned to implement the requirement(s) specified. Most of the ASIA/PACIFIC FASID originated from the recommendations of the Third ASIA/PAC Regional Air Navigation Meeting (ASIA/PAC RAN/3) held in Bangkok in 1993 and Conclusions of Asia Pacific Planning and Implementation Regional Group. Part IV of Asia and Pacific Regional ANP, Volume II lists the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance facilities and services needed to fulfill the requirements of Plan.
