Experimental animal models of spinal cord injury, including spinal cord contusive injury, spinal cord compressive injury, spinal cord traction injury, photochemical-induced spinal cord injury, inflammation and spinal cord ischemia-reperfusion injury, are mainly used to study the pathophysiological mechanism of the spinal cord.
