Method Sansanmycin E was isolated and purified by means of various chromatographies, such as macroporous adsorptive resins, reversephase preparative HPLC, etc. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic analyses. Result A uridyljpeptide antibiotic sansanmycin E wasobtained. Conclusion Sansanmycin E was identified as a novel compound.
