The best treatm ent for early pancreatic cancer is surgery. How ever, formetastasize pan creatic cancer, chemotherapy is the main treatm ent. G em citabine has been a standard treatm ent for advanced pan creatic cancer, but the therapeutic efficacy is not optmi istic. A s a resu lt, finding effective novelmolecu lar targeted drugs is the hot spot. Th is review focused on the present study and advances in molecular target therapy, introdu cing mechan ism and efficacy of some novel drugs through d ifferent signal pathw ays. For example, inhibitors of ep i dermal grow th factor receptor block the activation of the receptors or decrease the activity of tyrosine kinases, wh ich can inh ib itm etastasis and increase apoptosis of tumor cells; VEGFR antagon ists or antibod ies reduce angiogenesis; IGF1R antagonis,t DR5 antibod ies and so on are also included.
