承德双滦区概况
1、位置面积
位置面积双滦区是承德市中心区,北临隆化县、西接滦平县,东与承德县和双桥区相连,距避暑山庄和外八庙景区11.5公里,距北京210公里,天津320公里。总面积452.1平方公里,素有“承德山水的精华,山庄文化的源头,五代清帝的行踪,两个王朝的背影”美誉。人口总量:2011年末全市户籍总人口14.2万人,2012预计接待外地人口达到50万。

1)土地资源
??? 双滦区土地资源总面积507966亩。其中耕地55138.2亩,园地10067.4亩,林地129486.9亩,草地238786.5亩,城镇村及工矿用地43910.1亩,交通运输用地7549.8亩,水域及水利设施用地9936.3亩,其他土地13090.8亩。
2)矿产资源 ????双滦区矿产资源丰富,已探明的矿产资源有铁、钒、钛、金、磷、长石、硅石、陶土、膨润土等金属和非金属矿数十余种。其中尤其是钒、钛的储量在全国位居前列且相对集中,现已探明的铁资源储量3亿吨以上,可开采存储量2.5亿吨,其中约2.3亿吨为钒钛磁铁矿,含铁品味14%-20%,含钒品味0.15%-0.5%,具有较强的可持续综合开发潜力。
3、城市发展
近两年政府陆续斥巨资打造多个重点公共旅游项目,政府正努力以文化产业区为核心,加快推进文化产业健康发展,实现一季游向四季游转变。以具有承德特色的旅游产业链吸引大量外地游客及开发商,从而推进承德向现代化国际旅游大都市的转变,按照“错位发展、互惠共赢”的理念,大力实施重大文化旅游产业
