Methods There were total of 22 cases with traumatic patellar instability from December 2000 to February 2004 in our department , including 7 males and 15 females with an average age of 23. 7 years old (range from 16 to 33 years old) . The patients experienced patellar disloca2 tion 3 to 7 times preoperatively.
