Abstract ：T he thermal errors ，f racture and f atigue w ill be occurred w hen micromanipulation stage
are w oking in environment w ith temperature changing ．In order to improve the accuracy of a mi ‐
cromanipulation stage based on straight ‐beam f lex ure hinges ，the finite element method w as ap ‐
plied to build the thermal response model of the stage considering temperature eff ect ， and the
thermal error and stress w as analyzed according to the proposed model ．Euler‐Bernoulli beam w as
adopted to simulate the mechanical behavior of the straight ‐beam f lex ure hinge and links ． T he
mechanical equations of the micromanipulation stage w as obtained by using the principle of mini ‐
