The sensors and actuators of the controlled system exchange the information via a shared transmission medium with controllers. The nonlinear term in the system model satisfies the sector restriction. Using the proper augmenting the states of plant and the fault detection filter, an H-infinite robust fault detection filter is designed via solving a certain set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The residual is generated based on the data that can be exactly obtained at the controller and fault detection filter side.
