H ow ever, as anaerob ic amm on ia- ox idizing b acter ia grow slow ly, doub ling tmi e is up to 11 days and the start - up m ethods o f anaerob ic amm onia ox ida tion reac to r h ave been stud ied by m any scho lars. Th is article summ a rizes exp er-i ence o f the start- up o f ANAMM OX in diffe rent reactors, w ith d ifferent slu dge and different enrichm ent m e thods. By ana lyzing the ch anges about three kinds o f n itrogen in start- up, a step fo rw ard to understand is taken up.
