What is LCH?
• Histiocytosis: A group of disorders characterized
by the proliferation of histiocytes (macrophages)
• Langerhans cell:

• Langerhans cell histiocytosis: Clonal
proliferation of Langerhans cells in one or
many organs: Bone, skin, lungs, brain, soft
