By adopting high performance large DIPIPMP Ver.4, the prototype EV bus airP conditioner inverter achieved compact size, high output power, high reliability, low cost etc.. In TM this paper, Mitsubishi electric large DIPIPMP Ver.4 features, application points, circuit designP are introduced. Lastly the testing data, testing result, PCB outline are given. 1. Introduction TM Large DIPIPMP Ver.4 has been developed by Mitsubishi Electric Co., Ltd. By applying newP TM TM designed full gate type CSTBTP P chip, two new functions are built in DIPIPMP P . The two functions are current sensing function and temperature sensor function. With these two functions, it is easy for engineers to design short circuit protection circuit and over temperature protection circuit with low cost and high reliability. With the improved features, TM large DIPIPMP Ver.4 is a suitable device for appliance application and
