Import Marketing Costs Version 1.0 1 Webtr LADEBEXXX Content 1 Introduction 3 2 Managing Marketing Cost 3 3 Importing the data 4 4 File Format 5 5 Warning to filtered analysis 6 2 Webtr LADEBEXXX 1 Introduction The purpose of this document is to guide Webtrekk customers to manage Marketing Costs, by allowing import of external metrics. 2 Managing Marketing Cost Each Campaign/AdMedia tracked in Webtrekk can be further detailed by being able to import external data, including Campaign Cost. It is important to use this specific functionality to import Marketing Costs since the standard Time Categories that are available in Webtrekk allow importing external data and linking it to the database through the timestamp only. With Marketing Cost data the link will also be with each single Marketing DataSource value. The timestamp of each imported line can be as little as hourly data, however tipically the imported cost is daily, weekly or even monthly, depending on the level of reporting detail required. Once Marketing Costs data is imported, the default metrics “Campaign Audience”, “Campaign Views (imported)”, “Campaign Clicks (imported)” and “Campaign Cost” will be available in your Webtrekk Account.
