摘要 在西方文学史上 书信体小说从产生到发展 已经有三百多年的历 史 尽管书信的起源十分古老 但将其作为文学的一种新文体 是在 18 世纪 才出现的 并在当时的西方得到了长足的进步 从近代书信体小说的创始人 塞缪尔 理查森写作的 帕梅拉 1741 开始 一批作家相继受其影响写作 书信体小说 其中包括卢梭的 新爱洛伊丝 和歌德的 少年维特的烦恼 在这些作家的努力下 书信体小说被推向了高峰 书信体小说的叙述风格和 艺术形式新颖独特 虽历尽百年 却久盛不衰 它古老的艺术样式仍为众多 文学大家所青睐 本文将挖掘其独特的艺术生命力 提供小说研究的新视角 论文分为四大部分 即前言 书信体小说的叙述类型 书信体小说的文体特 征和结论 前言介绍书信体小说的概况 产生和发展 第二部分划分为单/ 内 视点 双/ 内视点与多/ 内视点 第三部分分析了书信体小说的独白性 即时性 对话性和兼容性 最后的结论叙述了书信体小说的作家 种类和影响 关键词 书信体小说 理查森 叙述类型 文体特征 Abstract In Western literature history,epistolary novel has three hundred years history from appearance to development.Although the origin of letter is very old,it didn’t arise until 18th centry as a new literary genre,and made considerable progress in the West.Following the modern initiator of epistolary novels,Richardson’s Pamela ,a group of writers produced the epistolary novels one after another by Richardson’s impact,including Rousseau’s Julie ou La Nouvelle Héloïse and Goethe’s Die Leiden Des Jungen Werthers.By these authors’ efforts,epistolary novels were pushed to the peak.The narrative style and artistic form of letter fiction are original and unique,they went through a hundred year,but they were still popular,their old artistic forms were favoured by many literary masters.This paper will unearth its distinctive artistic vitality,in the meantime offer a new view for novel study.The paper divides four parts,i.e.preface,narrative type of epistolary novels,style characters of letter fiction and conclusion.The preface introduce general situation,emergence and development of letter fiction.The second part separates single-inner perspective,dual-inner perspective and multi-inner perspective.The last one relates the writers,kinds and influence of letter fiction.
