Methods :It is necessary to Screen mentors Professor Hus effective clinical cases of out-patient treatment of tension-type headache,and document their prescription medication.With the help of PASW statistical software to establish database,then using frequency analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis of data mining techniques to analyze the drugs, to conclude the high-frequency drugs,drug classes,commonly used couple drugs,as well as the close relationship between cluster consisting of drugs, on this basis,to discuss mentors experiences of fundamental prescriptions and drug Compatibility Law in the treatment of tension-type headache. Results: The analysis shows that the total frequency of drugs is 2029 times, which frequency is used more than 35 times has 15 kinds, and frequency of more than 8 times (including 8 times) Drugs has 60 kinds.The total frequency is 1869 kinds,whose cumulative frequency is 92.11%; Drugs on the top of fifth Frequency are diaphoretics,drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasisk, antipyretic agent, drugs for calming the liver to stop the wind and tonification drugs. Their total frequency is 1459 kinds and cumulative frequency is 71.9%, who are the commonly used drugs and drug classes for this disease.The cluster analysis shows that there are six clustering prescriptions , which consisting of the close relationship drugs and fourteen groups
