It is shown that, on edge subcarriers, the estmi ation errors caused by channel information m issing aremuch larger than that caused by noise. Therefore the estmi ation errors of edge subcarriers are getting worse. A low complexity channel estmi ator is proposed. The proposed estmi ator takes the least square (LS) estmi ation instead of the DFT estmi ation on edge subcarriers. Then replacem ent criteria and the bound ofm ean square error(MSE) are presented. The smi ulation shows that theMSE and BER perform ances of the proposedmethod are better than that of LS estmi ator or DFTbased estmi ator.
