Abstract Abstract The characteristics of digital resources induce the complexity of digital preservation. Whether on technical or economic feasibility, individual organization can not conduct a comprehensive preservation of digital resources. While we can take advantage of co-operation partner of the conditions to achieve digital preservation. Conservers of digital resources who are the primary repository of digital resources activities dominate in digital preservation. A producer of digital resources, who is the owner of digital resources, is content provider in the preservation of digital resources. Third party can provides strong technical support and financial backing in the preservation of digital resources. The mutual cooperation of these three types of organizations provides a solid foundation to the overall some problem in the preservation of digital resources. This article analysis the various cooperation models, that between digital conservation, producers, and the third-party, from management, partner rights and obligations of the parties, the way of digital resources’ preservation. Based on the analysis of digital resources preservation, this paper builds a China cooperative system in the preservation of digital resources.
