Because of lacking unified Planning, business standard and other objective reasons, the phenomenon of information island has become more serious. As the rapid development of technology and frequent cooperation of each business department, it’s more and more important that these isolated systems need to be organically connected to promote information share. So how to realize information share of heterogeneous database becomes a worth-studying subject . Based on esearching present methods of data integration, a method for heterogeneous data integration is designed based on Mediator/Wrapper middleware . This system structure adopts XML Schema to build public models, uses XML as the exchange data format, uses XQuery as the global query language and shields the difference of operating environment of data sources based on Web Services technology to set up a public integrated environment in the mediation which shields all differences in aspects of data source such as the platform, system environment and internal data structure ，and so on.
