Thesecondpartofthethesisincludesthefollowingfourchapters.In Chapter3,internationalpoliticsofintegrationinthepost-warEuropean historyissurveyedbriefly,toexaminethemotivationofitsmemberstates forintegrationandtofindoutthebasicsubstanceofthisnewkindof cooperation.Itarguesthatwhenthetraditionalbigstatesregarded themselvesaspredominantpowersandoccupantsofthecentralpositionin theworldpoliticalandeconomicalsystem,norealintimatecooperationlike integrationcouldbecreated.AndaftertheSecondWorldWar,theyatlast realizedthattheyhadbeenexceededandmarginalizedbytheoutsidepowers, theycametogetherandinventedsuchanewkindofcooperation.
