The Clinical Research of HuazhuoJiedu Decoction in the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Combined With Hyperlipemia Speciality:Internal medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine Author:Liu Yun xia Tutor:Professor Zhao Quan lin Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of HuazhuoJiedu decoction in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hyperlipemia. in order to find the reliable way to discuss Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hyperlipemia. Methods: The 60 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hyperlipemia ， who had been chosen into this clinical research,were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group and the control group.Each group had 30 cases.On the base of the same diabetes diet and exercise therapy，the patients of control group were treated with metformin and simvastatin,based on the control group,the patients of the treatment group were added to HuaZhuojiedu decoction. With a period of 2 months’ treatment,we could observe the patients’ change on the TCM syndrome, blood glucose （FPG 、2hPG ）、blood lipid （TC、TG、LDL-C 、HDL-C ）、HbA1c 、BMI and other indicators ，and analyze these datas with statistic methods. Results: After the treatment of 2 months, the blood glucose, blood lipid, clinical TCM syndrome and BMI of the two groups had been both improved, but they were different （P ＜0.05 ）, and the treatment group was better than the control group. There were significant differences （P ＜0.05 ） in the efficacy of TCM symotoms between the two groups, but the treatment group was better than the control group. There were not differences （P ＞0.05 ） between the two groups in improving the HbA1c of patients. Safety evaluation:There were no side effects discovere
