The results show that: the villager autonomy system implementation effect was more significant in Xihaigu area. The villagers were satisfied with the institution, reflecting in the ability, attitude, working efficiency, dispute resolution and so on. The villagers were satisfied with production and living conditions. However, they were not satisfied with the condition of increasing income, advancing the construction of new rural, electoral procedure and so on.
