The f irst three layers at 8kb/ s, 12kb/ s and 16 kb/ s are embedded by ACELP coding model , w hile the last tw o layers at 24 kb/ s and 32 kb/ s are embedded w ith TCX technique. The test result indicates th at the quality of the embedded speech coding algorithm w ith f ive layers is close to Term s of Ref erence( TOR) f or ITUT G .
