Abstract
With the continuous growth of car ownership, car body repair has become a must in the industry, the paper discusses the brief history of the development of automobile, damage type body, the specific operation method body repair, the basic requirements of the future development prospects and direction body repair and car body practitioners and safety protection. With the continuous improvement of peoples living standards, the rapid development of automobile industry, domestic car retains quantity sharp growth, car collision accident also increased rapidly. According to statistics, from 2000 to 2007 for 8 consecutive years, auto repair of sheet metal repair total repair workload of 27%.
