Abstract：Asvaluableenergyiniron—andsteel-makingprocess，by—productgasiswidelyusedinheatingandtechnicalprocessesin
steelplant．Afterbeingusedaccordingtothetechnicalrequirements，thesurplusby—productgasisusuallyusedforbufferboilersto
producesteam ．Withtherapiddevelopmentofenergyconservationtechnologyandeneryg consumptionlevel，surplusgasinsteel
plantcontinuestogetlarger．Therefore，itissignificanttoorganizesuprlusgasamongbufferboilers．Adynamicprogrammingmodel
ofthatissuewasestablishedinthiswork．consideringtheramprateconstraintofboilersandtheinfluencesofsettinggasholders．
Thenacasestudy wasdone．Itisshownthatdynamicprogrammingdispatchgetsmoresteam generationandlessspecificgas
consumptioncomparedwithcurrentproportionatedispatchdependingonnominalcapacitiesofboilers．Theignoredboilerramprate
constraintwasconsideredanditsconrtibutiontotheresultvaliditywaspointedout．Finally,thesignificanceofsettinggasholders
wasstudied
