Specially: The clinic and basic subject of TCM Author:Zhang Bin Tutor: Zhang Sichao Abstract Objective:By analysis the effect of cold and heat Chinese medicine to normal rats,to explore the attributes of objective indicators to cold and heat,and reveals its inherent attributes cold and heat.Method: By observing the effect of the drugs in cold and heat on cold or warm drinks preferences,determination of cold and warm preference,and the independent movement,the basic metabolism,and the neurotransmitters of brain tissue and serum concentration,find properties-effect relationship trend.Results:The cold medicines can reduce heart rate in rats (P0.05),and brain tissue 5-HT increased(P0.05),the epinephrine and norepinephrine in the brain tissue and serum decreased(P0.05),prefer warm enviroment to cold.And the heat medicine contrary.Conclusions:The cold medicines can reduce the rat basal metabolic rate, reduce the autonomy of activities,inhibit the activities of the central nervous system,prefer warm enviroment to cold,And the heat medicine contrary.Determination of cold and heat preference in rats shows the properties of cold and heat preference trends for future research have laid a good foundation.
