Study on the Relationship between Psychological Factor and TCM Syndrome Type of Eczema Speciality: Dermatology, Surgery of TCM Author: Gongjing Tutor: Professor Song Yeqiang Abstract Objective: To observe the effect between psychological factor and eczema; explore the relationship between TCM syndrome type of eczema and the degree of anxiety and depression. Method: Self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) are used to collect the data and analysis the difference of score in the three types of TCM syndrome by questionnaire. Result: 29.47 percent of the patients with anxiety levels are higher than the normal standard, 22.11 percent of the patients with depression than the normal standard. In TCM syndromes, the incidence of anxiety state steeped card common to the accumulated of damp-heat, the incidence of depression common to the type of blood deficiency and wind-dryness. Conclusion: Psychological factors are closely associated with eczema. The accumulated of damp-heat is certificated anxiety, the type of blood deficiency and wind-dryness more common in depression. Anxiety is close to the anger in seven emotions, while the depression is similar to thoughtfulness.
