Clinical study of the effects of changningtang on Antibiotic associated diarrhea in the adults and its Mechanism Specialty :TCM internal Medicine Author :Sun Le Tutor :Director of Physicians Liu DongMei Abstract Objective :To investigate the efficacy of changningtang in patients with Antibiotic associated diarrhea in the adults. Ways :FromSeptember 2010 to November 2011,ninety patients with Antibiotic associated diarrhea in the adults were enrolled in this study and divided randomly into three groups. Thirty cases were received changningtang as the study group, and thirty cases were received peifeikang capsule and thirty cases were received guchangzhixiewan as the control groups. Three groups have been received the medicine treatment for four weeks, and then the changes of clinical symptom and physical sign were analyzed. Results :After 4-weeks treatment, we found the changes of three groups were better than before the treatment. The changes of clinical symptom and physical sign were significantly better after the treatment(P0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control groups (90%vs76.67%vs73.33%,P0.05).For the changes of clinical symptom and physical sign, the study group was significantly better than the control groups (P0.05). Conclusion : Changningtang was the significantly effective medicament for Antibiotic associated diarrhea in the adults.
