Methods: 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were according to 1:1 divided into the treatment group and control group. Each group contains 30 cases. The treatment group used relieve muscle massage method and acupuncture therapy, while the control group gave the external treatment with the compound capsaicin Patches. Before and after treatment in treatment group pain score, shoulder function and mobility, comprehensive effect was be compared. Results: The effective rate was 100% in treatment group and control group in the effective rate was 86.7%, with significant difference between the two groups. At the same time, in alleviating pain and improving shoulder function and mobility, the curative effect of treatment group was better than the control group. Through the statistical analysis, the comparison had significant difference. Conclusion: Relieve muscle mainly massage and acupuncture treatment method with periarthritis of shoulder the acute phase in alleviating pain and improving on the shoulder and mobility had remarkable curative effect, and the security without side effects, and had a certain clinical practical value.
