The Clinical research of Bushen HuatanQuyu treatment on patients with polycystic ovary syndrome Speciality：Gynecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Author ：Geng HuiGeng Hui Tutor：Prof. Sang HailiProf. Sang Haili Abstract Objective:To explore the regulatory of Bushen HuatanQuyu Decoction(BSHTQYD) in treating patients with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome(PCOS).Methods:60 patients with PCOS were divided into two groups randomly.BSHTQYD was given to treatment class including 30 patients. Meanwhile Clomiphene Citrate (CC)was given to control class including 30 patients. Observe the changes of clinical symptoms and signs ，serum hormones levels such as FSH 、LH 、E2 、T、INS，Basic Body Temperature(BBT) 、Body Mass Index(BMI) and the Ovarian volume.Results:The total effective rate is 86.67%、the ovulation rate is 86.77% and the pregnancy rate is 43.33% in treatment class ，they are 60.00%、63.33% and 26.67% in controlclass，there are statistica1ly significant between them (P0.05).There are significant differences between two groups in improving the symptoms of TCM 、BBT 、and decreasing the BMI(P0.05 或 P0.01).After the treatment,There is significant differencet in treatment class in decreasing the Ovarian volume,but no significant ana1yzed statistically compared to the control group(P0.05). After the treatment,There are significant differences in the two groups in decreasing serum hormones levels such as LH 、T and INS，and in increasing the level of E2 .
