Clinical Study of the effect of acupuncturing the method of invigorating the circulation of blood and tonifying the heart on premature beat of the heart in syndrome of stagnation of the heart blood Speciality: Acupuncture and moxibustion Author:Liu juntian Tutor: Prof.Wang Rui Abstract Objective: This study is to observe the clinical effect of acupuncturing the method of invigorating the circulation of blood and tonifying the heart on premature heart beat, which in the syndrome of stagnation of the heart blood, compared with acupuncturing only “Neiguan”(PC6) point, to find which therapeutic action is better by acupuncture. Methods: 51 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with 25 and 26 cases respectively, the treatment group selected “Lingtai” (DU10), “Shendao” (DU11), “Baihui”(DU20), “Geshu”(BL17), “Neiguan”(PC6), “Sanyinjiao”(SP6) and perform with specific manipulation. The control group acupuncture bilateral “Neiguan”(PC6) point with electric stimulation. Each group has a treatment course of 12 days. After a course of treatment, a Holter examination will be given for the continuous and dynamic observations of two groups of the Holter changes of the patients. Results: The results show that both of the two groups can be curable to premature beat of the heart.(P0.05), the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were68.00% and38.46% respectively.
