The Clinical Study of Treating Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease(CPID) With Dan-Bai-Pen-Yan Decoction Speciality：Gynecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Tutor：Prof.Wang Dongmei Author ：Li Peipei Abstract Objective: To investigate the clinical effect and security of Dan-Bai-Pen-Yan Decoction on Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease with humid heat and blood stasis. Methods:We selected 60 patients with CPID and devided them randomly into treated group(30 cases,treated with Dan-Bai-Pen-Yan Decoction) and controled group(30 cases,treated with Fukeqianjin Capsule).Callback was done after one period of treatment which lasts for 6 weeks.After treatment the improvements of clinical symptoms and the changes in the result examed by the brightness mode ultrasonic were observed and compared. Results: The total effective rate is 90.0% in the treated group,while it is 73.3% in the control group,there is significant difference between them (P0.01). By means of improving symptoms,the curative rate in the treated group is 93.3% and the control group is 73.3%.Analyzed with statistic method,they are significantly different(P0.01). By means of improving the signs, the curative rate in the treated group is 83.3% while it is 66.7% in the control group.Analyzed with statistic method,they are significantly different(P0.05). Harmful reaction was not found during the course of clinical application.Conclusions: Dan-Bai-Pen-Yan Decoction is effective and safe in the treatment of Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease(CPID)with humid heat and blood stasis.It is worth further researching.
