Methods: This study included 68 patients with Diabetes. They were further divided into two subgroups randomly, and treated with regular modern medicine including physical exercise and controlling food that can lower blood sugar. The treatment group 38 was treated with taking YiFuSu orally, and the control group 30 was taken Western medicine （Metformin ）orally. After two months of treatment, the changes of clinical symptom and laboratory index were examined. Results: 1.The total effection of YiFuSu in the treatment group reached at 89.5%, the effection of the contrast group reached at 66.7%,there was a remarkable difference p 0.05 .2.The total effection of YiFuSu about improvement clinical symptom reached at 89.47%,the effection of the contrast group was 60%, there was a remarkable difference p 0.05 .3.After using YiFuSu, There were remarkable differences in decreasing blood sugar and HbA1c in the group, and there were also remarkable differences between YiFuSu group and western medicine Metformin group p 0.05 .4.YiFuSu can improve the blood rheology and lipid obviously, There was a remarkable difference between YiFuSu group and Western medicine group p 0.05 .5.
