Ask the students if they have previewed the lesson. Let the students ask questions about the lesson. Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about this lesson. They can ask like this: What does “Ring up” mean in Canada? Is Li Ming at home? Step3. Listen to the tape and try to finish Exercise 2 in activity book.
